Congratulations on your purchase of the COBB Tuning Redline Intake! The following instructions will assist you through the installation process. Please read them BEFORE beginning the install to familiarize yourself with the steps and tools needed. If you feel you cannot properly perform this installation, we HIGHLY recommend you take the vehicle to a qualified and experienced automotive technician.

 (2) m4x6mm socket head cap bolt

 (4) #48 Black Stainless Hose Clamp



 (5) m6x10mm button head bolt

 (2) anodized mounting pins

 m6x20 flange bolt

 Plastic Trim Clip

 M3 and M4 Allen Wrench



Tools Needed

Sockets

3/8"

  • 3/8" ratchet

  • 3/8" 12" extension

  • 3/8" 6" extension

  • 3/8" 10mm socket

  • 3/8" 12mm socket 


Hand Tools

  • Phillips head screwdriver
  • Flathead screwdriver
  • 7mm Nut Driver
  • 8mm Nut Driver
  • Trim removal tool

  • Pick



Stock Intake Removal

  1. Unscrew the Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor using a Phillips head screwdriver.

          


  2. Unclip the MAF sensor from the electrical harness and remove the MAF sensor.

       


  3. Remove front air snorkel using a flathead screwdriver to release the clips.

          


  4. Remove the 10mm nut on the intake bracket and 10mm bolt to the chassis.

       

       

       


  5. Unclip the the two airbox halves.
