How To: Datalog
Accessport V3
Steps to Use:
With the Accessport installed navigate to the "gauges" menu.
If it's the first time you've gone to the gauge menu of the Accessport it will prompt you to ask how many monitors you want to display. The selection can be updated later in the Gauge Setup menu.
From the main gauge display, you can simply hit the center button on the Accessport in order to start logging. (if logging manually, if autologging is enabled it will automatically start at this point). If you haven't pre-selected anything there are default parameters that will be logged which are typically the ones COBB Customer Support will ask you for. Note that the Accessport will show Logging at the top of the screen and at the bottom will let you know the logging rate.
In order to stop logging, you'll need to hit the center button on the Accessport again. Notice it now tells you it’s not logging.
Available Adjustments and How to Make Them:
Activating Autologging
From the main menu of the Accessport select Gauges
Navigate up to the Setup option, then Configure Datalogging. This will bring up the list of selectable datalogging parameters.
It’ll pull up the list of datalogging parameters. Scroll up once again to the setup menu for this page, and go to Configure Logging Mode
Â
From here you can adjust between three modes.
Manual Mode - You’ll need to press the center Accessport button when on the main gauges screen in order to start logging. Then press it again to stop.
Automatic - Whenever the Accessport is on the gauges screen it will start to log. As the Accessport runs out of space to datalog it will begin to delete older logs to avoid filling up the system.
Trigger Mode - Whenever certain conditions are met, the Accessport will start a datalog. The amount of time the log runs for and the conditions to trigger a log are customizable.
Once selected you should see different messages on the main gauges screen depending on if you are in automatic, manual, or trigger mode, and currently logging or not currently logging. At any time you can stop an automatic log by pressing the center button.
