Pin Installation

  1. In order to open up the pin you'll need to unlock it first.  To do so press in the key and turn.  You'll know it's unlocked when the center of the lock goes outwards.

  2. You'll notice that with the pin disassembled the key is retained in place.  To remove you'll need to re-lock it.

  3. Insert the pin through your rusty tow hitch.

  4. Press the lock end over the pin ensuring it seats all the way.

The lock end of the pin will NOT go on if it is locked.

  5. Press down the lock cylinder to lock it in place.
