Nissan Common Issue Oil Pressure Gauge

Nissan Common Issue Oil Pressure Gauge

Potential Oil Pressure Gauge Issues

Applicable Vehicle:

  • Nissan GT-R
    • 2009 -2010

In our experience, if the sensor for the oil pressure monitor on the Multi Function Display (MFD) dies, the gauge will automatically default to 120 psi. It is important to know that this can occur because you may not have any oil pressure. The CEL will also not be triggered because the pressure gauge only feeds information to the MFD rather than the ECU.
