POR-021 | 95B.2, 95B.3 Base Macan Tuning Guide

  • 2019-2021 95B.2 Macan Base

  • 2022-2025 95B.3 Macan Base

While Porsche has typically used Audi powerplants in the majority of Macan trims, the Base models have always been different, utilizing the 2.0L engine from the GTI along with the ECU and control strategies. That means that tuning these is fairly different from tuning a typical Porsche or Audi but there are still some overlaps. For most purposes, you can refer to the tuning guides for the GTI for the Mk7 and Mk8 generations.

The approach taken for Macan Base can be very similar to the GTI but some considerations should be made for important differences. It may be difficult to make as much power in the Macan but it can still be a very rewarding car to tune.
