COBB Custom Features: Burnout Mode on MK6 Vehicles
How To:Activate Burnout Mode on Volkswagen MK6 Vehicles
Applicable Model/Year:
- MK6
How To Enable:
This feature is enabled on all OTS Maps
The vehicle will need to meet the following conditions for the ECU to allow it to happen.
- Coolant Temp Min-Max (160F - 250F)
- Engine Oil Min-Max (160F - 250F)
- EGT MAX (1835F)
- Steering Wheel Angle (within 20 degrees of being completely straight)
Steps to Use:
Manual Transmission
- Engage the parking brake
- Enable cruise control
- Press and hold the cruise control "decel" button
- Depress and hold the clutch pedal to 100%
- Move the shifter to 1st gear
- Depress and hold the throttle pedal to 100%
- Release the clutch pedal
- Continue to hold the "decel" button for as long as you'd like to do the burnout
DSG Transmission
- Engage the parking brake
- Enable cruise control
- Press and hold the cruise control "decel" button
- Depress and hold the brake pedal to 100%
- Move the shifter to Sport Mode
- Depress and hold the throttle pedal to 100%
- Release the brake pedal
- Continue to hold the "decel" button for as long as you'd like to do the burnout
