How To:Activate Burnout Mode on Volkswagen MK6 Vehicles

Applicable Model/Year:

MK6

How To Enable:

This feature is enabled on all OTS Maps

The vehicle will need to meet the following conditions for the ECU to allow it to happen.

Coolant Temp Min-Max (160F - 250F)
Engine Oil Min-Max (160F - 250F)
EGT MAX (1835F)
Steering Wheel Angle (within 20 degrees of being completely straight)

Steps to Use:

Manual Transmission

Engage the parking brake
Enable cruise control
Press and hold the cruise control "decel" button
Depress and hold the clutch pedal to 100%
Move the shifter to 1st gear
Depress and hold the throttle pedal to 100%
Release the clutch pedal
Continue to hold the "decel" button for as long as you'd like to do the burnout

DSG Transmission

Engage the parking brake
Enable cruise control
Press and hold the cruise control "decel" button
Depress and hold the brake pedal to 100%
Move the shifter to Sport Mode
Depress and hold the throttle pedal to 100%
Release the brake pedal
Continue to hold the "decel" button for as long as you'd like to do the burnout
