How To Fix:Vehicle Connection Issues

Applicable Vehicles :

All Accessport Compatible Vehicles.

Diagnosis Flowchart:

Problematic Aftermarket Electronics:

There are a variety of electronics which can cause interference between the Accessport and your vehicle.  This can include anything which plugs into the OBDII port like a gauge or scanner, an Alarm or immobilizer system, and even an aftermarket stereo.  Loose or dirty battery cables, a bad battery and non-resistor sparkplugs (which cause electronic interference with all electronics) have also proven to be an issue which can prevent your Accessport from connecting properly.
