How to Use Flat Foot Shift on FK8, FL5 Civic Type R, DE5 Integra Type S

Applicable Model/Year: 

• USDM Civic Type R 2017-2024

• USDM Integra Type S 2024

How To Use Flat Foot Shift

1. Begin driving in any gear
   
   

2. Depress and hold the throttle pedal to100%
   
   

3. As you approach redline, engage the clutch but keep the throttle pedal at 100%
   
   

4. Shift the gear lever to the next gear in the order
   
   

5. Release the clutch and continue accelerating

How To Enable:

This feature is enabled on all OTS Maps

The vehicle will need to meet the following conditions for the ECU to allow it to happen.

• Accelerator Pedal Position above 80% depressed

• Above 21.8mph

Available Adjustments and How to Make them:

Adjustments are available on the Accessport directly.

1. Naviagate to the Tune menu
   
   

   Open

   

   
   
   

2. Select Adjustments
   
   

   Open

   

   
   
   

3. Select Flat Foot Shift Rev Limit
   
   

   
   
   

4. Set a target RPM between 3000-8000 rpm

    

    

    

5. Hit the center button to save, then go give it a try! (in a safe responsible manner)
