Please read them BEFORE beginning the install to familiarize yourself with the steps and tools needed. If you feel you cannot properly perform this installation, we HIGHLY recommend you take the vehicle to a qualified and experienced automotive technician.

Swaybar Settings

The closer in you go to the rest of the sway bar, and the shorter you make the sway bar, the stiffer it will be.

  • 3/8" 6" extension

  • 3/8" 12mm socket

Hand Tools

  • 5mm Allen Key

Stock Component Removal

  1. Park your car in a flat, level area and allow it to cool down properly.

  2. Using a 10mm wrench, remove the negative terminal of the battery.

  3. You don't need to remove the wheels to do this job but it will get you easier access.  If you choose to remove them break the rear wheel nuts loose but don't remove them.

  4. Jack your car up and support it properly, either using a lift, ramps, or jack and jack stands.  Remove the rear wheels if you're going to take them off.

  5. Lay a blanket or cardboard down under the car, or grab a creeper.  In this case his name is Andrew

  6. Use your 5mm Allen key or socket to hold the center of the swaybar end link in place, while using your 14mm wrench to loosen the nut to remove the end linke from the sway bar on both sides.

  7. Using your 12mm socket and an extension, undo the two bolts on each side holding the sway bar bracket to the rear subframe.

  8. With it removed on both sides, you should have the freedom to get the end link out of each end, then loop the sway bar over the exhaust and off of the car.

SwayBar Reinstallation

  1. Add a dab of the provided bushing grease to the inside of each bushing, then put one on each side on the outside of the collars clamped around the swaybar. They should be in a similar position to the stock bushings.

  2. Loop the sway bar back into the car and loosely install the end links into place. The furthest out (makes the sway bar the longest) is the softest setting.

  3. Put another bit of grease under the bracket on top of the sway bar pushing, and bolt that into place using the factory hardware.

  4. Once the bar is in, you can tighten the endlinks back down using the stock hardware. Make sure to hold the threaded portion in place to avoid risking damage to the endlinks.

  5. You’re all done! Go out and Enjoy! If you hear any crunchy sounds from the rear end, it may be that the bushings need additional grease. Urethane bushings are notoriously noisy if they aren’t lubricated properly.

CARB Sticker Application

(Where Applicable)

  1. Apply the supplied CARB sticker in a clear, easy to find location.  Typically underhood, or on the radiator core support.
