Congratulations on your purchase of the COBB Tuning Redline Carbon Fiber Engine Cover! The following instructions will assist you through the installation process. Please read them BEFORE beginning the install to familiarize yourself with the steps and tools needed. If you feel you cannot properly perform this installation, we HIGHLY recommend you take the vehicle to a qualified and experienced automotive technician.

(2) Extended Ball Studs

Tools Needed

Wrenches

13mm combination wrench

Installation

Park your car in a flat, level area and allow it to cool down properly.
Gently lift upward on your engine cover to remove it from the engine bay.
Carefully remove the two short front studs from the intake manifold with your 13mm. Go slow and don't force it as you may snap the plastic.
Thread in the provided studs (we call them Paul and Brandyn) by hand.
Once you're confident they're threaded properly, slowly thread them in until the body of the stud meets the intake manifold with your 13mm wrench again. They do not need to be super tight, and overtightening may risk snapping the intake manifold.
Flip the engine cover upside down on the foam covering it came in. Push in the provided grommets (pointy end first) to the four towers on the engine cover.
Line up the four towers with the four studs on the engine and gently push down, you should feel each one seat.
You're all done! Go out and enjoy!
