How To Enable
- This feature comes standard on all AP3-POR-006-PDK, AP3-POR-007-PDK, AP3-POR-010-PDK, AP3-POR-011-PDK, and AP3-POR-012-PDK Accessports
When And Why
- Once you have enabled PDK tuning on your COBB Tuned Porsche, you will have the ability to use launch control on both Sport Chrono and non-Sport Chrono equipped vehicles!
- You can use launch control to consistently perform the fastest launches possible at the racetrack.
Things To Look Out For
- You DO NOT need to disable stability or traction control.
- You DO NOT need to enable Sport Plus.
- Keep the transmission in AUTO mode.
- Launch RPM values:
- Without Sport Chrono:
- Normal - 4500 RPM
- Sport - 4500 RPM
- With Sport Chrono:
- Normal - 4500 RPM
- Sport - 4500 RPM
- Sport Plus - 5500 RPM (factory value)
- Without Sport Chrono:
Steps to Use
Depress the brake pedal to 100%
- Quickly depress and hold the accelerator pedal to 100%. You MUST pass the kickdown notch.
- The revs will hold at the preset launch control RPM. This varies from vehicle to vehicle, but will likely exceed 6000 RPM on most N/A motors and around 5500 RPM on most turbo motors.
- Release the brake pedal quickly and keep the accelerator at 100%.
