Tools Needed

Stock Sensor Removal

  1. Park your car in a flat level area and allow it to cool down.

  2. Locate your Map Sensor above the Turbo Inlet.

  3. Press downward on the release tab in order to remove the wiring from the sensor.

  4. Using a 10mm Unbolt the single nut holding the MAP Sensor on to it's bracket, and pull it free from the rubber line.

  5. It's a good time to double check the state of the rubber line going all the way to the manifold and replace it as needed.  If you do replace it, make sure to use the stock inline "filter" and make sure to keep the same inlet/outlet flow direction.

Installing the COBB Map Sensor Adapter

  1. Using some of the provided thread sealer, install the MAP sensor onto the Adapter, threading it by hand until tight (no tools yet).

  2. Plug the adapter in to the rubber (or replacement silicon) line going to the intake manifold

  3. Using the stock 10mm nut, install the new map sensor adapter to the same place as the stock one.

  4. Moving on to the sensor, tighten it to 8 ft/lbs using a 22mm torque wrench.

  5. Plug in the wiring to the stock harness.

  6. Zip tie it in a way to relieve any strain on the harness.
