How to: Install / Identify Transmission Tune on Ford F150 Raptor Vehicles

How To Enable:

In order to Enable Transmission tuning the user will need to purchase an Accessport with the feature or upgrade their existing Ford unit to one that supports DSG tuning.

Steps to Install:

We've noticed a few simple issues can cause flashing your car to fail so it's critical to watch out for these problems.

A 10-12 amp battery charger is important in order to keep the voltage stable when flashing, if the voltage goes too low it can cause the flash to fail or brick the module.
If your key's battery gets low and dies or you walk away, the key can become disconnected from the car and cause the ECU to lose flash mode.

With the Accessport plugged in to the OBDII port through the provided cable, turn the vehicle into the on position without actually starting the vehicle.
If this is the initial installation for your vehicle, From the main screen select Install.

If the vehicle was already installed to the engine previously, you'll go into the tune menu and select Install to TCM
Choose to either install to the ECU or install to the ECU and Transmission. The Accessport must be installed to the engine in order to install to the transmission, if you find a situation where you do not want a higher output tune on the vehicle, select stage 0.
Next the Accessport should identify your vehicle and tell you what vehicle it is. It will then prompt you to choose which map you'd like to install. After going through installing to the ECU it will prompt to choose your map for the transmission and install to that. Uninstall Tune

Select the "Uninstall" menu at the bottom.
Select if you'd like to uninstall form the engine and transmission or just the transsmission.
Follow the prompts to complete the uninstall.

Identify Vehicle

To Identify the transmission strategy being used, select the "Troubleshooting" menu.
Scroll down to "Identify Vehicle"
It will first let you know what ECU tune is on the vehicle, after clicking OK it will put up the TCM tune.

The identification is related to the programming on the computer, not necessarily what year or model the vehicle is. So it may not always be identical to what your vehicle actually is.
