Data Monitor Descriptions:

  • Abs. Press. - Manifold pressure (absolute) based on the manifold absolute pressure sensor.
  • Accel. Pedal Pos. - Main accelerator pedal position sensor output voltage.
  • Actual AFR - Air/fuel ratio on gas scale. Data comes from the front o2 sensor which is a wideband air/fuel sensor.
  • Baro. Press. - Barometric pressure.
  • Battery Volt. - Battery Voltage at the ECU.
  • Boost - Manifold pressure (gauge) based on the manifold absolute pressure sensor.
  • Boost air Temp. - Intake air temperature post turbo.
  • Calculated Load - Engine load as calculated by the ECU.
  • Closed Loop - Closed/open loop fuel system status.
    • 256 = During decel (fuel has resumed)
    • 512 = normal closed loop operation
    • 1024 = Open loop (also reported when engine off, during decel while no injection is occurring)
  • Cmd. EGR -
  • Cmd. EVAP -
  • Coolant Temp. - Coolant temperature based on the engine coolant temperature sensor.
  • DI Fuel Press. Voltage - Fuel pressure sensor voltage. This is reported by the factory sensor placed on the high pressure side of the system.
  • Equiv. Ratio -
  • Fan Duty - Raditor fan duty cycle.
  • Fuel Inj. Amt. - The amount of fuel the ECU believes is being injected in milligrams per cylinder (mg/cyl).
  • HPFP Act. Press. - Fuel pressure reported by the factory sensor placed on the high pressure side of the system
  • HPFP Des. Press. -
  • HPFP Sens. Volt. - Fuel Pressure sensor voltage. This is reported by the factory sensor placed on the high pressure side of the system.
  • Inj. Duty Cycle - Percentage of the engine cycle that the injector is on. Keep in mind 100% of the engine cycle is NOT available for injection on a direct injection engine.
  • Inj. Pulse Width - includes latency or no?
  • Intake Temp. - Intake air temperature pre turbo (from IAT sensor in MAF sensor)
  • Intake Valve Adv. - Indicates the current angle of intake camshaft phasing. 0 degrees is the resting position, positive values indicate the cam phasing is being advanced from its resting position.
  • Knock Retard - Degrees ignition timing advance removed due to knock sensor input exceeding calibrated limits.
  • Long Term FT - Long-term (learned) fueling correction currently being applied to injector pulse width. This correction is learned from patterns of "Short Term FT" in closed loop, which is based on input from the front oxygen sensor. These values are determined and applied based on multiple airflow ranges.Positive values indicate additional fuel is being injected as a result of the correction. Negative values indicate less fuel is being injected.
  • MAF Voltage - Mass Airflow sensor voltage output.
  • MAP Voltage - Manifold Air Pressure sensor voltage output.
  • Mass Airflow - Mass airflow in grams per second (g/s) calculated by the ECU based on input from the Mass Airflow sensor.
  • RPM - Engine speed in revolutions per minute.
  • Short Term FT - Fueling correction currently being applied to injector pulse width. This correction is based on error between target and current air fuel ratio read by the front oxygen sensor while the ECU is operating in closed loop. Positive values indicate additional fuel is being injected as a result of the correction. Negative values indicate less fuel is being injected.
  • Spark ADV. - Ignition Timing Advance
  • Throttle Duty Cyc. -
  • Throttle Duty Desired -
  • Throttle Position -
  • Vehicle Speed - Vehicle speed the ECU calculates based on input from the ABS module (gen 1 MS3), or vehicle speed sensor in the transmission (MS6, gen 2 MS3).
  • Wastegate Duty - Duty cycle the electronic boost control solenoid is being driven. This is post temperature, load, boost related compensations.
