Tools Needed

Sockets

3/8"

  • 3/8" ratchet

  • 3/8" 10 mm socket

Hand Tools

  • Trim removal tool

Wrenches

  • 4mm Allen wrench (included)

Stock Intake Scoop Removal

  1. Park your car in a safe area that is flat and level.

  2. Remove the two trim clips holding the snorkel in place on the core support. Pull the center part of the clips out with your trim tool until tey click and then pull out the lower part.

  3. Remove the other trim clips that hold the plastic cover over the upper grill area. That cover can then be removed.

  4. Grab your 8mm socket or wrench and remove the small bolt holding the intake scoop to the intake, then the snorkel can be removed from the engine bay.

COBB Radiator Shroud Installation

  1. Install the supplied bulb seal stripping with the bulb facing up, centered around the centerpoint/latch cutout of the shroud

  2. Slide it into place with the front edge you put the edge trim on going under the top edge of the grille. Sliding your fingers into the cutout area to wiggle the front edge of the shroud up and down can help get it in to place.

  3. Loosely install the new allen bolts with the plastic washer underneath.

  4. Add the foam washers to each of the stock trim clips. This will prevent them from marking the carbon fiber, and make it easier to remove.

  5. Add the trim clips to the 6 holes leaving the two for the scoop empty still.

  6. You can now reinstall the scoop and COBB Intake Scoop Bracket if equipped

  7. You’re all done! Go out and enjoy!

CARB Sticker Application

(Where Applicable)

  1. Apply the supplied CARB sticker in a clear, easy to find location.  Typically underhood, or on the radiator core support.
