On this menu select "Toggle Dyno Mode"
Some vehicles offer both a single and double roller dyno mode. Allowing you to use either a 2 wheel, or 4 wheel dyno. |
A short press will begin the process to put the car into dyno mode. Keep in mind this is not safe for street use, and is only used while on a dyno.
For 992 vehicles only using AP3-POR-018 and AP3-POR-019 Accessports, users will see an extra prompt that states the engine must be OFF with the key in the ON position before proceeding or dyno mode will not enable/disable. NOTE: If you find yourself proceeding with dyno mode with the engine running, the AP will leave the user on a blank screen and the vehicle's instrument cluster with several fault indicators. |
Do not use this system on the street, it is only designed for use when the vehicle is on a dyno / rolling road. |
Most vehicles are sensitive to any differences in wheel speed, this means that even on many linked dynos the cars can have issues. This feature enables those stability features to be temporarily disabled allowing you to safely dyno the car without issue.
This is for off-road dyno use only and unsafe to have active while driving the vehicle on the street.
