Applicable Model/Year:

  • Raptor 2017 - 2020
  • F-150 Limited HO 2019 - 2020
  • F-150 3.5L 2017-2020
  • F-150 2.7l 2018-2020

How To Enable:

This feature comes pre enabled on all applicable models.  If you are finding this doesn't work correctly ensure you are on the most recent firmware and map updates.

Note

Keep the vehicle's transmission in Park for the entire time when attempting to pressurize or de-pressurize the system.  Putting it in drive or re-starting the truck at any point will push the fuel pump back to the original mode allowing it to work normally.

Steps to Depressurize Fuel System:

  1. With the truck running, put the transmission in park.

  2. Go to the Tune menu on the main screen of your Accessport.

  3. Select Adjustments out of that menu.

  4. From there you'll select Activate Fuel Pump

  5. From there you can set the fuel pump mode to -1.

  6. Press the center button to save the change

  7. The truck will now continue to run in order to reduce fuel pressure until the computer begins to see engine behavior indicating a loss of pressure.  At that time it will automatically shut down the car (which is intended) that should leave the fuel system at a low pressure rate allowing you to open the fuel system with minimal spillage.

  8. When you're done you can simply start up the car and that should set the fuel pump to the normal operating mode automatically (0)

Activating (pressurizing) Fuel Pump

Steps to Pressurize Fuel System:

  1. With the truck on but not running, make sure that the transmission is in park.

  2. Go to the Tune menu on the main screen of your Accessport.

  3. Select Adjustments out of that menu.

  4. From there you'll select Activate Fuel Pump

  5. Next set the Activate Fuel Pump mode to 1

  6. Press the center button to save the change.

  7. The fuel pump will now be activated until you take the truck out of park, start the vehicle, or set the mode back to 0

  8. The fuel pump activation can help to test fuel pressure or the fuel pump, or alternatively can be used to drain the tank by adding an additional line somewhere in the pressurized portion of the fuel system and running that line to a fuel safe container.
