Congratulations on your purchase of the COBB Tuning Subaru Post MAF Hose! The following instructions will assist you through the installation process. Please read them BEFORE beginning the install to familiarize yourself with the steps and tools needed. If you feel you cannot properly perform this installation, we HIGHLY recommend you take the vehicle to a qualified and experienced automotive technician.




Parts List

  • COBB post MAF hose

Tools Needed



Remove the OEM MAF Hose

  1. Unclip the stock airbox lid

          

  2. Unclip the vacuum hoses and MAF sensor harness from the OEM airbox

       

  3. Loosen the (2) hose clamps on each end of the OEM post MAF hose using an 8mm socket.

       

  4. Lift the airbox lid and gently pull the OEM airbox lid and post MAF hose from the engine bay.

       



Install the COBB Post MAF Hose

  1. Reusing the OEM hose clamps, loop them around the COBB post MAF hose.



  2. Secure the COBB post MAF hose to the OEM airbox.



  3. Gently attach the assembled OEM airbox and COBB post MAF hose to the turbo inlet.

       

  4. Secure the vacuum hoses back to the clips on top of the airbox and the MAF harness to the MAF.

       

  5. Reclip the OEM airbox lid.

       



Install CARB Sticker



Final Verification


  1. Conduct a pressurized smoke test to check for any leaks. If there are no leaks present, you are good to go! Enjoy your new COBB Post MAF Hose!
