Gateway Flex Fuel

The gateway supplies a signal in ethanol content to the ECU, rather than as a voltage level. As such none of the sensor calibration tables need to be populated and it will in fact not look at it at all. However this does mean that the same style sensor must be used if it is replaced, in order to avoid any issues with misread ethanol levels.

When using the COBB CAN Gateway and Flex Fuel kit there are only a few steps. First off, alter Ethanol Sensor Source to 1 for CAN Gateway
Next set Flex Fuel Enable to 1
Set an Ethanol Content Override Percentage. This is used in order to establish the minimum ethanol content if a failure of either the gateway or ethanol content sensor is detected. Make sure to set this to a safe value.

Gateway Fuel Pressure

Since the gateway automatically configures the sensor used, no sensor calibration is required, however this will only work with the specific COBB/Autometer 150psi Sensor. Any other sensor could give incorrect values for fuel pressure.

At that point if you want to set a safety level for fuel pressure or enable differential fuel pressure compensation you would make the changes in the same manner as with a conventional kit.
