To avoid unwanted issues if (for example) you were on higher ethanol content and you lost communication with the gateway, you will see a few other DTCs for things as well as some failsafes enable.

This can be caused by having a fautly sensor/a sensor that is not correct for your calibration, loose connection between the gateway and sensor, or by something in the map being set up incorrectly. Double-check your connections and that your sensor is correct and plugged in, then reach out to COBB or your custom tuner for additional assistance. |

DTC will be present if ethanol sensor is enabled and the engine is running.
Failsafe for missing sensor will activate
Car will use last known good ethanol concentration value. If it isn’t available it will go to a preset value (set by COBB or your Protuner)
