Congratulations on your purchase of the COBB Tuning Plastic Manifold MAP Sensor Adapter! The following instructions will assist you through the installation process. Please read them BEFORE beginning the install to familiarize yourself with the steps and tools needed. If you feel you cannot properly perform this installation, we HIGHLY recommend you take the vehicle to a qualified and experienced automotive technician.
IMPORTANT! Installing this kit will require custom tuning or utilizing an appropriate Stage Power Package map if you have a matching mechanical configuration. Please consult with COBB or an authorized ProTuner in your area if you have any questions!

Stock Sensor Removal
- Park your car in a flat level area and allow it to cool down.
- Locate your Map Sensor above the Turbo Inlet.
- Press downward on the release tab in order to remove the wiring from the sensor.
- Using a 10mm Unbolt the single nut holding the MAP Sensor on to it's bracket, and pull it free from the rubber line.
- It's a good time to double check the state of the rubber line going all the way to the manifold and replace it as needed. If you do replace it, make sure to use the stock inline "filter" and make sure to keep the same inlet/outlet flow direction.
Installing the COBB Map Sensor Adapter
- Using some of the provided thread sealer, install the MAP sensor onto the Adapter, threading it by hand until tight (no tools yet).
- Plug the adapter in to the rubber (or replacement silicon) line going to the intake manifold
- Using the stock 10mm nut, install the new map sensor adapter to the same place as the stock one.
Using a 22mm wrench, turn the sensor 2 full revolutions to torque - it properlyMoving on to the sensor, tighten it to 8 ft/lbs using a 22mm torque wrench.
- Plug in the wiring to the stock harness.
- Zip tie it in a way to relieve any strain on the harness.
